Who would want to marry their cousin?

My cousin Mr. William Collins came into town to see my family and I.  While he visited with us he went to the Netherfield Ball with with my family and I.  He is in town to visit us. While he is here he wants to inherit my dads estate. He knows that my dad is getting older and can not take care of it much longer. Mr. Collins also is looking for one of us Bennet girls to marry him so he can inherit the estate from my father.  He asks Jane if she would marry him and she says no because she already loves Mr. Bingley.  She met him at the Netherfield Ball. The next girl Mr. Collins ask to marry him is me and I told him no. I was really grossed out by Mr. Collins when he asked me to take his hand in marriage.

My fathers reaction when he found out that Mr. Collins wants to marry me and he said "Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins and I will never see you again if you do"  Mr. Bennet was very happy that I did not marry Mr. Collins because he knows that I would not be happy with him or he would not be happy with his daughter me. He thinks Mr. Collins is crazy and does not know what he is doing. I did not want to marry my cousin Mr. Collins, so I said no although the right thing for me to say would be yes but I could not do it. That was my response to Mr. Collins when he asked me to have his hand in marriage. That was the time my cousin Mr. Collins asked me to marry him.
